I only asked for 10 minutes

How many times when that 10 minutes mattered to me, and “would have” saved my day from going downhill, in these days of raising children? It was highlighted again this morning, when my walk was short, the mornings being darker now, and I get home still in time for my husband to go to work.

I love those words by author Katrina Kenison in her book The Gift of an Ordinary Day. I read the first chapter yesterday. After hearing her speak in an interview with the Power of Mums recently, I ordered a number of her books to read, including Magical Journey, An Apprenticeship in Contentment.

While I have written about sleep before, when I said in my last blog that I was going back to my postnatal 0-3 weeks set of exercises, I didn’t mean that I also wanted to feel sleep deprived. But, with nearly a week of interrupted sleep at the time of writing this, I am.

9 1/2 m...no years....Post Natal

Ok, I will admit it. I am 9 ½ years post natal! I have been going to make a ‘come back’ since my second child, my son, was 6 weeks old, but it still hasn’t happened.
