Water and your Pelvic Floor

While water may lift your pelvic floor a little and take the weight of your pelvic organs (and if you are pregnant, lifts the weight of your baby off your pelvic floor), you will still need to consider the pressure upon your pelvic floor when you use water weights or resistance equipment.

Exercise Modifications during Pregnancy

While there are modifications of exercises recommended during pregnancy and for postnatal women, there are often times that modifications within these exercises themselves need to be made. Each woman seen by a fitness or health professional needs individual attention at regular intervals during their pregnancy.
